Screens

Put your own screens in the text folder of the server (TextDir in lordsrv.ini):

File	Shown
`welcome.ans` / `welcome.asc`	To telnet callers before they log in.
`goodbye.ans` / `goodbye.asc`	When someone leaves.

.ans is for ANSI terminals, .asc for plain text; the server picks the one that suits the caller. A SAUCE record at the end of an ANSI file (after the Ctrl-Z) is not sent.

Telnet callers are asked whether their terminal shows colour if the server can't tell. Rlogin callers are taken to have ANSI.

The game's own screens (the town, the forest, the Inn) are LORD's: LORDTXT.DAT and lordtxt.lrd in each game folder. See Data files.
