The console
The console is the server's control screen. It is the server's own window when it runs as a program, and attaches to the server when it runs as a service (see Running the server).
The screen
LORD Server 1.4 - Kalgoorlie LORD telnet 2300 rlogin 5130 up 2:14:09 2/32 on [service] # User Via Address Node State Since 1 Carol telnet 10.0.0.71 A1 playing 13:38 2 Bob@SHS rlogin 203.0.113.25 A2 playing 13:41 Log (PgUp/PgDn to scroll) 13:41:02 [2] Bob@SHS entered game A node 2 > _
- The top line shows the server's name, its ports, how long it has been up, how many are connected out of the most allowed, and whether it is a service.
- The connections: number, name, telnet or rlogin, address, game and node, what they are doing, and since when.
- The log, newest at the bottom. PgUp and PgDn scroll it.
- The command line at the bottom. Up and Down recall earlier commands.
Everything updates every second.

cls | Clear the log pane. |
config and dos open their windows on the desktop where the console is, also when the console is attached to a service.
Names with spaces
Account names can have spaces: disable Mary Jane works. For passwd and adduser, the password is the last word and the name is everything before it.
