====== Game options (lord.ini) ====== The game options are in ''lord.ini'' in the game directory (''LORD.INI'' on DOS). Set them with lordcfg's **1** (see [[lordcfg]]), or edit the file; the next player to enter uses the new values. The file is the same format as lord.js's: ''Key=value'' lines (tabs or spaces before the value are fine), then ''[Tournament]'' and ''[IGM]'' sections. ===== The game ===== ^ Key ^ lordcfg field ^ Default ^ What it does ^ | ''BBSName'' | BBS name | | Kept for LORDCFG familiarity; not shown in the game. | | ''SysopName'' | Sysop name | | The sysop's name. | | ''ForestFightsPerDay'' | Forest fights per day | 15 | | | ''PlayerFightsPerDay'' | Player fights per day | 3 | | | ''InactivityDays'' | Delete players after (days) | 15 | Inactive players are deleted after this many days. 0 = never. | | ''Delete1XP'' | Delete 1 XP players daily | true | Delete players who never got past 1 experience point. | | ''DeedsToWin'' | Heroic deeds to win | 3 | Dragon kills to win the game; 0 = never. | | ''ResurrectionDays'' | Resurrection days | 3 | How many days the dead are raised while away. | | ''CleanMode'' | Clean mode | false | Tones down the adult text and options. | | ''BankTransfersAllowed'' | Bank transfers allowed | true | | | ''BankTransfersPerDay'' | Bank transfers per day | 2 | 0 = any number. | | ''MaximumTransferAmount'' | Max transfer amount | 2000000 | See the note below. | | ''Olivia'' | Olivia event | true | The Olivia forest event. | | ''NoNPCChatter'' | NPC chatter in the bar | false | true turns the NPC chatter in the bar **off**. | | ''FunkyFlowers'' | Colour codes in flowers | true | Players may use colour codes in the flower garden. | | ''ShopLimit'' | Shop strength/defence limit | false | true: armour and weapons need defence and strength points, as in lord.js.
